Secretary General of CCYIA Mr. Zheng Weihang proposed five suggestions about the development of China cruise industry

Secretary General of CCYIA Mr. Zheng Weihang was invited to participate in the 5th China Cruise Industry Development Summit (CCS). On 24th, June he made a speech on the history and future of China cruise industry and China government’s attention. In particular, he stressed that the mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan are the important places and have huge market potential. He proposed five suggestions:

First, to bring the strait cruise issue into the talks of Chiang Pin-kung (SEF) and Chen Yunlin (ARATS) to promote the development of cruise industry from the policy level.

Second, society groups of the mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan conduct market research cooperatively, give policy suggestions and plan routes.

Third, the mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan set up and manage cruise line or cruise fleet cooperatively.

Fourth, navigation agencies of the mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan communicate actively and provide convenient services for cruise navigation and berthing.

Fifth, CCYIA is willing to lead and cooperate with tourism agencies and navigation agencies of the mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan to introduce cruise tourism sources to the world and attract more international cruise.
